Das war die überwiegende Meinung der Teilnehmer an der Energy Ethiopia - der Kooperationsreise für Unternehmer aus der Elektrobranche nach Äthiopien.

Vom 14. bis 16. Februar 2008 haben die Landes - Gewerbeförderungsstelle des nordrhein-westfälischen Handwerks (LGH), die Baugewerblichen Verbände (Düsseldorf) und der äthiopische Verband der Elektrounternehmen (EEPCA) 28 äthiopischen und 9 deutschen Unternehmen Gelegenheit gegeben, sich über gemeinsame Geschäftspotenziale und Kooperationsmöglichkeiten auszutauschen, Gespräche mit Politik und Wirtschaftsverbänden zu führen und Bauprojekte zu besuchen.

Das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen:

Daneben sind weitere bilaterale Besuchsreisen und Information-saustausche vereinbart worden.

Diesen Erfolg hat auch EU ProInvest, der Sponsor der Energy Ethiopia, gesehen und hat die Partner gebeten, ein längerfristiges Folgeprojekt zu planen.
